Essential Oils to Keep Germs at Bay

Essential oils have been used since the beginning of time and are once again gaining popularity as people are reminded of their amazing benefits.

I love essential oils because they are so versatile. They can be used to freshen a room, clean a home, calm the mind, and prevent or improve an illness. With the change in cooler temperatures, kids back in school and everyone spending more time indoors, our chances of getting a cold or flu bug is increased.

Here is an Immune Boosting Blend of oils to ward off those nasty germs.

Combine 1 drop of each:

Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary and….

  1. Diffuse daily in the home and at work---consistency is key!

  2. Combine the blend with a carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil or jojoba oil, and rub the blend onto the bottoms of your feet at bedtime

  3. Combine with water to make a great household cleaner for all surfaces, add it to laundry or the dishwasher

This blend acts as a natural antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal. What a great way to keep your family healthy and your pocketbook a little fuller from saving a trip to the doctor.
